No-exam life insurance
Eligibility for expedited review, how the process works, and what occurs if you don't qualify.
Numerous companies offer fast-track assessment: when applicants fall within specific age brackets and coverage limits, they make a decision based on application materials, medication history, driving history and public records instead of a medical examination. Many decisions arrive within business hours. Each rate quote on this site indicates if an exam is mandatory, conditional, or optional for that specific plan.
What it changes
Bypassing the medical exam doesn't bypass review and verification. Data from your answers gets checked, and a policy created on false information can be challenged during the initial two years. If the company's records create concerns, an exam or lab tests might still be requested; you decide then whether to move ahead.
Who tends to qualify
Typically those below age 60 seeking amounts up to the company's accelerated threshold, without significant medical history and non-tobacco use for at least the prior twelve months. Some insurers will work with recent lab results from a doctor's office rather than requiring a new exam.
If an exam is necessary, it typically lasts 20 to 30 minutes and occurs at your residence or workplace in the Montebello area, with no cost to you. For applicants in good health, test results can sometimes boost the rate classification, so exams aren't necessarily a drawback.
